Hi, I'm John!

With more than four decades of mortgage lending experience, John Scaffidi brings extensive industry knowledge and a deep commitment to his clients and team. John began his mortgage career after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 1982 and later founded Complete Mortgage, Inc., which he sold to First State Mortgage in 2010. He joined Luminate Bank in 2026.


John primarily serves homebuyers throughout Southeastern Wisconsin, with a particular focus on the six-county region. He specializes in Conventional mortgages and brings extensive experience in construction lending, a specialty he is excited to expand through Luminate Bank's broad range of mortgage products.


One of John's proudest accomplishments is the longevity of his team. His loan officers have worked alongside him for 20 to 30 years through multiple mergers and acquisitions, creating a highly experienced and dedicated team for the borrowers they serve.



Outside of mortgage lending, John enjoys following all kinds of sports and spending time with his wife, Sandy, their daughter, and two grandchildren.
